The result has been that most Trainz users have given up on using Thomas and Friends. The current Sodor Workshop site was somehow involved in these shenanigans as well. There were copyright issues, accusations of pirating, and the entire site being taken down. I seem to recall some discussions here years ago about the original Sodor Island web site and its Thomas assets. I did a Google search for some of those listed kuids and got a link to a Romanian Trainz forum where, after translating the posts, I discovered that they did not have the missing assets either but forum members there were also asking the same questions - where are they?
